Well, it's nice to know dying didn't do much for her attitude. Either way, Cal doesn't see what happened to her as weakness, as failure. He'd only survived Vader because he wasn't alone. If he'd been alone, no Cere, no BD-1, he couldn't have done it. He's not sure anyone can do it, not without help. That doesn't mean he wouldn't have fought to the bitter end. But he's firmly planted in the Light, so his views on the situation are still drastically different from Trilla's.
"Trilla," he says again, struggling to find something to say. What if she doesn't remember? What if she does? Neither of those seem like great options, and neither of them are easy to deal with.
BD-1 scolds him and he pulls it together, summoning irritation at her insult. It's entirely fake, though. He can't even be irritated. He's...glad she's not dead (even if she is, whatever). It's a weird mix of things to feel. She had been his enemy, but he hadn't wanted to be hers. Not once he knew enough about her. Not once he became convinced that she wasn't so far gone that she couldn't come back.
"Yeah, seems so. I don't know this planet." He doesn't ask her if she does, because she'll either tell him or she won't regardless of what she asks.
She doesn't just go for her lightsaber, which is maybe promising. It could change, and they could fight. He won't start a fight, but he'll finish one if he absolutely has to.
"Looks like there's a bunch of people here, but...I don't know how we got here. I haven't seen or felt anyone I recognise, though." That much is incredibly strange. No matter how he reaches, the only familiar presence he can find in the Force is standing in front of him now.
"Gotta say, whoever did this sure has a sick sense of humour."
